I hold the strong belief that we are magnificent and creative and that we are OK even at times when it doesn’t feel like it. I also believe that we can take the sails of our life’s ship back into our own hands at any given moment.
There’s no denial, it is hard work being a human ‘being’ with deep emotions and a clever active mind in a world that overwhelms with information, seduction, possibility, comparison, standards, conventions, cultures, expectations, fear, love, vulnerability, egos, relationships, commitments, dreams …
And once we’ve made the decision to seek for personal clarity on who we want to be within it all, the journey has truly begun.
And I follow what Rumi said: ‘The path is yours, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, no one can walk it for you.’
Another perspective I have been experimenting with is that getting through this life with all its highs and lows can be a practice more than a struggle. It’s not so much about ‘solving’ situations, denying pain, fixing problems; it can be more about learning how to be with what comes up, how to stay strong and true to yourself, and finding personal ways to hold the focus in following your own life purpose within the unexpected and often uncontrollable circumstances life presents us with.
I will walk with you, let’s shine light on your path and take some strong steps forward!
