Registration is from 8:00 to 8:45 at the International School of Luxembourg and includes a welcome breakfast.

Please note that in addition to the conference starting from 9:00 will include two coffee breaks and a cold buffet lunch.

At 16:30 conference attendees are invited to a complimentary Wine and Cheese networking event, to be held at the International School right after the last conference session. This will be an opportune time for you to make social connections, mingle with other guests and simply unwind after an eventful day.

For all conference attendees you will receive a VIP pass for the Drinks and Walking Dinner Evening Event - Oct. 7 from 19:00 to 21:00.


Best parking option for this event is the Parking Bouillon.


From 19:00 to 21:00 ICF Lux will be hosting a standing cocktail hour at the TWO6TWO Restaurant in Strassen, Luxembourg. The evening will allow for a more informal approach and feature a Question and Answer session with Katia and Michael. If you are not registered for the day conference, there will be a separate registration procedure and nominal fee for the evening drinks event.

Vlachos is a researcher and writer on cross-cultural transitions and expatriate life. She coaches expats and their partners on making successful international moves, rebuilding their careers and coping with relationship challenges. Previously a defense analyst with a Ph.D. from the RAND Corporation and a Master’s Degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Katia has lived in seven countries and three continents. Born in Cameroon to Greek parents, she is deeply experienced in the joys and tribulations of leading a globally mobile life. She is the author of A Great Move: Surviving and Thriving in Your Expat Assignment (LID Publishing, 2018).


Watkins is the co-founder of Genesis, a global leadership development consultancy based in Boston, MA (USA) and a Professor of Leadership and Organizational Change at the IMD Business School. His writing, coaching and consulting focuses on helping leaders accelerate their transitions into new roles. Michael holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and has been a member of faculty at INSEAD, Harvard University, and Harvard Business School. He is the author of The First 90 Days, Master Your Next Move (both from Harvard Business Publishing) and numerous other books and articles on leadership transitions and negotiation. He coaches C-level executives of global organisations taking new roles.
